Congratulations on your hard work and accomplishment!

I left San Diego 4 years ago and even in a mental health clinic there I got better mental health treatment than I have since moving to the Midwest.

I wish you the best of luck!

It is a beautiful place to live and raise children! I did it there. The possibilities are amazing there for someone starting out.... I miss it but it gave me so much when I lived there. I'm in the country now, it's so beautiful too!

"That’s why we partnered with Nectar and chose their Luxe Hybrid mattress for our bedroom". .🤔☹️

Dr. Jake promoting directly or suttlely is not what I want to read about when I paid for your Substack. Possibly it offset the direct expenses of your time to research the info you'll write about, however it parallels the veracity of a published article that is not from a peer reviewed scientific journal.

First off- congratulations to you!

Tenacity - unwilling to give up - thank you. As a PT of almost 30 years - I completely acknowledge that health care providers need mental health support at times in their career.

My question- please address ADHD in early 20 - 25 year olds. As I sit back and watch - I am thinking my son needs some help

I want to keep my comment very short but it's necessary. I ask you, as a practing psychiatrist, to not tell people, they have to be on these antipsychotic or antidepressant medications for the rest of their life, because yeah, you need to know if you went to medical school, you need to know at doctors. This is my belief all doctors, no matter what you are, unless you're a surgeon. If you're a surgeon, that's different. But if you're not a surgeon, and you're a doctor you are a slave to big pharma, and there's no other doctor that is more a slave to big big pharma, then the psychiatrist, because you have to give out something in the form of a pill to keep your job and you're not there to do therapy. And I ask you to look at the trauma informed model, and don't just look at the genotype. Look at the Phonetype. Just look at genetics and say it's a brain disorder, because that is a theory, it is not proven. These medicaThese medications, none of them, none of these medications have been in a clinical trial for more than a year. And I am tired of doctors. Especially psychiatrists saying, well, it's your brain disorder. I would ask you I want to go on youtube and check out The

TAPER clinic by Dr. JOSEF.

HE it's to be a practicing psychiatrist, and now he owns the taper clinic, and he helps people get off psychiatric medicines safely and protracted withdrawal is a real thing. I saw it happen with my mother, and I saw the acathesia with her right when she started yeah, changing all the medicines because her psychiatrist set to change this medicine and just Get off of the other medicine. It should take 2 weeks and tapering somebody off. An antidepressant fir 2 weeks is too fast and my mom died. It's horrible not Her death was fine, but leading up to her death was not appropriate. And she didn't get the appropriate diagnosis of dementia from any of her doctors even though the MRI report said it. But I have a lot of disdain or anger towards psychiatrists, because of my own experience, in being told from A Primary "care physician

" do not go to another doctor and tell them you have major depression. If you go to any other doctor and tell them you're on zoloff, they're going to be telling you, you have to take this for the rest of your life and that is not safe. These drugs are not meant to be taken for more than a year".

Guy listen to thisGuy listen to this general practitioner in 2004 my stepdad died when I was 28, no I did not listen to him in 3 months, I had to go to my city to where I lived 5 minutes away from where I lived, and I went to another doctor another general practitioner. And I told him what I was taking, and he labeled me with a psychiatric label and said, major depression, and I told him the other doctor told me no more than a year. These drugs are not safe to take for over a year because the clinical trials stop all the trials at one year, the doctor said, oh, they're safe. And it took me three tries to get off a zoloff. 2008, 2010, finally 2011 i was off

And it's horrible, too many people are prescribed antidepressants when they're poor they don't have enough resources. They don't have money or they don't have a car or maybe they're homeless. And now with this administration going on, they're gonna label. Everybody, that's homeless. They're going to say, oh, you're just a drug. Addict, which is not true. There are millions and millions of homes empty in California. And across the nation, because the homes cost too much for the average person.

I have a lot of passion and a lot of information from what I'm trying to write about the story about my mother. It's hard because of all the grief, and she died 7 years ago, and I'm still moving through that every time I try to edit this story on Microsoft Word to get it out there to find a content Editor.

And I just, uh, I wish more psychiatrists were more open and listened to their patience and i'm asking you, if you practice this, listen to your patience and don't write them off and don't gaslight them.

Based on his writing and speaking, Dr. Goodman has not presented as a medication for all psychiatrist.

I can read your passion and pain in this letter/response. I hope you are able to receive some personal support because these feelings seem to be impacting your quality of life. I hope you get the care you deserve.

Please don't make me look stupid again. Maybe read my other comments and my other notes about me.Writing a book about my mother. Maybe use a little bit of compassion. I have a master's and business administration. And I don't know how to take your comment, but i'm not mentally ill.

I'm writing a book about my mother that died of Alzheimer's. She didn't get a correct diagnosis until 12 days before her death.

I'm fine. Nothing is affecting my life. I'm working & I'm not sure how to take your comment.
